Dear Blue Hills Community,

Happy September! With the crisper mornings here, I am thrilled to reach out as the next steward of this wonderful ski area.

I am very excited for Blue Hills!  We have been busy getting geared up for the upcoming winter, performing routine maintenance and undertaking new capital improvements.

We’re thrilled to share our new logo and website, done in conjunction with Ibec Creative. We have also moved to a new ticketing and e-commerce platform, which will enable advance purchasing / reservations for you all!

On-hill, we have been reimagining the snow surface – we’ll be increasing our water supply and introducing a more modern snowmaking fleet, with the purchase of all new fan and tower snowguns. We’ve also purchased two Pisten Bully snow groomers. These new enhancements will allow us to offer a better snow surface throughout the winter.

Blue Hills has long been Boston’s learn-to-ski mountain and I’m thrilled to share that we’ve ordered all new ski and snowboard rental equipment from Head, one of the leaders in the space. We’re also investing in an upgrade to our tuning & repair shop, to ensure your equipment is kept in tip-top shape all season long.

From a facility standpoint, we are in the process of doing a face-lift to both the exterior and interior of our buildings. We’ll also be enhancing our food and beverage offerings as well as other exciting announcements to be shared soon.

Our season passes are now on sale – this is the best rate, prices increase after October 10th. Lift tickets this winter will be date and time specific, so a season pass is the best way to enjoy unlimited skiing and riding.

I look forward to sharing more updates as we move through the fall. Please sign up for our newsletter and follow us on Facebook or Instagram – and encourage your friends to do so as well!

I look forward to seeing you on the slopes, if not sooner.

Think Snow!
