Blue Hills Ski Area and Folds of Honor Boston Partner to Support U.S. Military Service Members and First Responders
Boston, MA – Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2024 – In a powerful show of support and appreciation for
those who serve our country and communities, Blue Hills Ski Area is proud to announce a new
partnership with Folds of Honor Boston. These two organizations are pleased to unveil the Hero’s
Season Pass for the 2024/2025 ski season at Blue Hills.
The Hero’s Season Pass will be available for purchase by veterans of the United States military, active-duty military personnel, and first responders at $325, a significant discount for these heroes who protect and service to enjoy the 2024/2025 ski season. In addition, Blue Hills will donate a portion of the proceeds of the Hero’s Season Pass to Folds of Honor Boston.
Folds of Honor is a national nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of United States military members and first responders who have fallen or been disabled while serving our country and our communities. All funds raised through the Folds of Honor Boston Chapter will go directly to support families in New England.
“We are honored to partner with Folds of Honor Boston to create the Hero’s Season Pass initiative,” said Geoff Homer, the new president and operator of Blue Hills Ski Area. “This is our way of saying thank you to the heroes who protect our freedoms and keep our communities safe. We hope that this product will not only provide access to our beautiful slopes but also create a space for camaraderie and gratitude.”
“We are excited about the partnership between Blue Hills and the Boston Chapter of Folds of Honor.
Blue Hills is an institution of the Boston ski community. We know the Hero’s Season Pass will be well
received. We cannot thank Geoff enough for his show of support for our military and first
responders,” said Will Fulton, Boston Chapter Co-President.
The Homer Family Foundation will match the Blue Hills donation at the end of the ski season further
demonstrating the family’s commitment to Boston and the military and first responder community.
