We’re getting ready for an amazing 2025-2026 winter. All summer long, our dedicated team has been hard at work behind the scenes—tuning equipment, improving trails, and tackling projects big and small—all to ensure the mountain is ready to welcome you for an incredible ski season ahead. We are looking forward to welcoming back old friends and meeting new ones!
Blue Hills is Boston’s friendly and accessible neighborhood ski area. Over the years, generation after generation, individuals & families have come to Blue Hills to start their skiing and riding adventures. Blue Hills is your gateway to skiing & snowboarding and the closest ski area in Metro Boston!

Blue Hills continues to make enhancements to ensure you have a great 2025/2026 ski and snowboard season.
Lift Infrastructure
We’re unveiling two new surface lifts this winter, one to service the beginner terrain and other to service the intermediate/advanced skiers. Stay tuned!
Rentals
We continue to reinvest in the rental experience, with the addition of more rental equipment and GoreTex rental apparel. Plus, the shop will receive an additional face lift!
Snow Surface
We’ve added more snow guns to the fleet and continued to refine what we did last year!

Blue Hills has installed state-of-the-art induction lighting on a number of trails that is both environmentally friendly and gives fabulous view at night.
